Quite agree: it would be advantageous. I would re-erect the existing buildings into separate cell blocks, and would secure prior to about 300 prisoners elsewhere.
At the same time the existing Gallows quarters would be demolished and new ones built on the site now occupied by Gardens Quarters &c. being released as an addition to the airing courts.
